Help! My picture flickers TV – New Samsung LCD TV / Digital Cable / TiVo?

I have a brand new Samsung 32 "LCD TV, digital cable By Comcast with a Motorola DCT2000 box and a Humax TiVo DVR + DVD + /-RW. When trying to tune to any digital channel, the picture flickers (cracks and exit). These channels show the 1-99 fine, but when I try to tune to channel 102, 114, 179, etc., the picture flickers (cracks and out) so much that I do not watch anything without getting a headache. I have an RF from the wall to the digital cable box, composite cable from the box to TiVo, TiVo part from the TV (changed to mixture, but that does not help). What is wrong?? TiVo firmware is up-to-date because it is connected to my wireless network by a TiVo wireless adapter. TV is brand new – it works fine when connected via RF or normal standard definition channel.

Well it SHOULD ONLY flicker when the channel changes …. because you are dumping the OLD Video and sound and Refilling the Buffers NEW VIDEO AND the sound …. But it should NOT do this all day long during ….. show If that is your situation, you need to contact the cable company and have them look into your Cable / Tivo / TV setup to isolate the loss RF power …. And they can fix it.
